Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency EACEA CALL EACEA N° 35/2012 TEMPUS IV – SIXTH CALL FOR PROPOSALS Building Capacity of Serbian Agricultural Education to link with Society, CaSA 544072-TEMPUS-1-2013-1-RS-TEMPUS-SMHES (2013 – 4604 / 001 - 001) Partner institution The University of Maribor (UM) is one of three Slovene state universities comprising 16 faculties. UM has established e-learning Centre based on Moodle and is providing e-learning knowledge to university stuff and students. The Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences (FALS) is a teaching and research institution with mission to provide university and professional education based on own research and using University Agriculture Centre with 400 ha as training centre for students and other interested in different fields of agriculture. The main orientation is sustainable agriculture development and in this direction they provide fundamental database for agricultural policy, especially for agri-environmental measures which are basic orientation in country’s rural and regional development. FALS provides educations also for advisory service and secondary school teachers, but also approved lectures and presentations for farmers included in agri-environmetal programs. University of Mariboris using Moodle 2.0 software and will help UBFA in the transition from the older version of the software to 2.0, and in Moodle implementation at Serbian FA. Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency EACEA CALL EACEA N° 35/2012 TEMPUS IV – SIXTH CALL FOR PROPOSALS Building Capacity of Serbian Agricultural Education to link with Society, CaSA 544072-TEMPUS-1-2013-1-RS-TEMPUS-SMHES (2013 – 4604 / 001 - 001) Role in CaSA Modernization of teaching contents: - The first activity needs 2 flows PC-EU for one person from the Ministry and one person from IPN to UM for 5 days stay and 2 days travel. This visit to Maribor is needed to compare practices with Slovenian system of vocational education and ES organization. - In CaSA experts from EU partner Universities will monitor project realization and also will: participate in the Belgrade workshop (WP1) and assist Serbian partners to define structure and content of NaRA; participate a workshop in Cacak to compare experience and good practices (WP4); UM professors will advise in vocational courses implementation (WP7); contribute to WP8 QPLN: as members of the body for Quality Control; peer review vocational courses; and participate in WP 9 in dissemination of project results.
