This paper presents the simulation of plasma facing material sputtering induced by hydrogen isotopes. The study utilizes the SCATTER code, a TRIM-like model that incorporates surface roughness effects to accurately analyze sputtering phenomena. New features include relief modification and detailed modeling of flat surfaces, ridges, and gaps. Parameters such as atomic flux and angle of incidence are examined to understand their effects on sputtering dynamics, which is crucial for enhancing the lifespan and performance of materials in fusion reactor environments.
