Analysis and Outlook • KFC attempts to extend its sphere of influence and idealogy, targeting to recruit Mestizo youth population amongst the IDPs • Expect increase in KFC operations in other IDP camps besides the affected ones (Nampa and Spokane) • Usage of IDP camps to store weapons in Nampa and Spokane indicates the following signature • Expect increase in smuggling of arms in IDP camps by KFC • Springboard for KFC covert operations • High probability of other IDP/ refugees camps being exploited by KFC to conduct a/m activities. • The Sons of Isla del Sol (SIS) terrorist groups are ethnic Mestizos, suspected to be connected to KFC. (RFI) • Expect increase in arms support from the SIS to KFC • Expect increase in arms smuggling via maritime approach

Recommendations • CTF CMOC to request UN to tighten security by screening new inclusions of IDPs and refugees • Focus intelligence operations to discern KFC activities and behaviour • Implement maritime operations by CTF Naval Force to deter smuggling and cross-maritime border activities Bottomline: Current DPs are still relevant
