Resilience – A definition • Resilience – PPD8 • ”the ability to adapt to changing conditions and • withstand and rapidly recover from disruption due to emergencies” • Resilient communities and organizations provide a variety of options • and choices so that adaptation to changing conditions is facilitated • and rapid recovery is facilitated.
