  1. Week 10 Presentation Cass Fry

  2. Written communication • I have improved my written communication skills throughout this semester. Areas I have been improving are spelling and proof reading • I have improved my spelling by using the look, cover, write, check method. I have created a list of commonly misspelt words and have continued to practice my spelling. • I have developed my proof reading skills by using previous feedback to understand where I have been making mistakes in my assignments. Using this information I proof read my work several times focusing closely to these areas.

  3. Oral communication • I have improved my oral communication by seeking feedback on presentations at work. I asked a teacher to watch the way I interact with students and how I use professional language. This feedback has helped me understand the errors I make when talking out aloud. • I have practiced reading books to children to develop my oral communication skills. I have noticed an improvement of my fluency and students engagement.

  4. Information Literacy • I have developed my information literacy skills by sourcing relevant and reliable information from websites, journals and readings. • I have improved using the APA referencing style by re writing many books, websites and journals information using the correct method according to Perrin (2012)

  5. Knowledge of teaching I have developed my skills in knowledge of teaching as I have researched many types of lesson plans and layouts.
