NeuStar Organizational Structure Change/NOWG Feedback • On October 25, 2005, NeuStar notified the Wireline Competition Bureau, Federal Communications Commission via Letter, regarding notice of three recent changes in the organizational structure of NeuStar, Inc. Chairman Atkinson directed the Numbering Oversight Working Group (NOWG) to consider this request on behalf of the NANC the same day. The NOWG was tasked with providing feedback to the NANC of any issues or concerns regarding the contents of this notification. • The NOWG has completed its evaluation and provided a letter of feedback for consideration on November 3, 2005. • The NOWG has no issues or concerns regarding the neutrality of the following organizational changes: NeuStar Secretariat Services, LLC becoming a subsidiary of NeuStar; the dissolution of Nightfire Software, Inc. and Sentan Registry Services, Inc. Status NANPA and PA 2005 Performance Evaluation Surveys • Reviewed 2004 NANPA/PA surveys for modifications and streamlining. • Survey reviews are now complete and have been distributed to NANPA, the PA, and the NANC for final comments. • Comments are due to the NOWG co-chairs by December 15, 2005.   6. 2006 NOWG Co-Chair Positions • The NOWG reached consensus to add a third co-chair to the NOWG, the term will start on January 1, 2006 and will be for two years. • The one year term co-chair position currently held by Rosemary Emmer is up for re-election. • Nominations for both positions are being accepted via e-mail by December 2 to: • Beth O’Donnell (bethodonnell@comcast.net) and Julie Petersen (jp4746@sbc.com). • The NOWG will have until Dec 15th to vote.
