They take the Tennis Court Oath and are determined to write a Constitution. Louis XVI tells the other 2 estates to join the 3rd. They ended up writing the Declaration of the Rights of Man which ends privileges of nobles, guaranteed basic human rights for all citizens, and established a constitutional monarchy.

In the winter however, when there was no farming to do, the farmers worked in the mines and workshops. This relationship provided a steadier income for the workers than either profession alone.

Causes for Imperialism World History Midterm Review Project Imperialism Ch. 27 The Age of Imperialism Causes for Imperialism The reasons for imperialism were: 1) Nationalism makes European countries build empires and compete for more land and power 2) The Industrial Revolution created a demand for raw materials and markets for finished goods 3) Religious fervor and feeling of racial and cultural superiority inspired Europeans to impose their cultures on others
