  1. COMMON SHOULDER COMPLEX DISORDERS

  2. ROTATOR CUFF INJURIES These are tears or inflammation of the tendons that connect the muscles of the rotator cuff to the humerus (upper arm bone). Rotator cuff injuries can cause pain, weakness, and limited range of motion in the shoulder.

  3. SHOULDER IMPINGEMENT SYNDROME This occurs when the tendons of the rotator cuff and the bursa (a fluid-filled sac that cushions the tendons) become compressed or pinched between the bones of the shoulder joint. It typically causes pain and difficulty with overhead activities.

  4. BURSITIS: Bursae are small, fluid-filled sacs that provide cushioning and reduce friction between bones, tendons, and muscles in the shoulder joint. Inflammation of these bursae can lead to bursitis, causing pain and swelling.

  5. TENDONITIS: Tendonitis involves inflammation of a tendon, often caused by repetitive motions or overuse. In the shoulder, tendinitis commonly affects the biceps tendon or the tendons of the rotator cuff, causing pain and limited shoulder movement.
