The Big Pivot with Bren

1. The Big Pivot with Bren Bren Badgley is our charismatic team member behind our biggest and best LED panel creations. As the site lead for our video team, you can find Bren at most of our shows if there are video walls involved or behind the camera in our XR studio. Bren came to MMP in early 2020 after touring with Gryffin doing LX/LED work. Before that, he spent years managing a video department on the corporate AV side of the industry in Atlanta. Since the pandemic and the shift towards content creation and virtual events, Bren has found himself diving head first into the Unreal universe in our MM-XR studio. In his own words, here is a bit about Bren and his experiences over the past year learning his way around the studio: ‘During the pandemic we as a collective needed to shift our focus away from live events to a virtual event environment to stay competitive. Boy, did we do that. Thanks to some visionary leadership from Aaron, we dove head first into the Unreal XR world. We have done some amazing things that I would have never imagined doing, from using my car as a prop in a virtual environment to using a fully immersive LED wall and flooring system, to seeing a MoCap (Motion Capture) suit used LIVE on a streaming platform while the actors interacted with a “live” audience. To say I’m honored to work with the talented group of people would be selling my feelings short. From, Christopher Ruppel, Michael Smalley, Shelby Cude, Monte Johnson, and the amazing team at Music Matters we are making waves and people are starting to notice.
