Products • Bioriginal's core product line is nutritional oils high in essential fatty acids. • These oils are processed from a variety of sources, including borage, evening primrose, black currant, flax, pumpkin, perilla and fish. • Our products are sold in: • soft-gel capsules • bottles • bulk oils • We can also formulate or custom-package to meet the specific needs of our customers. • In 2002, Bioriginal developed LignaMax®: • an innovative new flax product • first functionally viable “flax flour” • proprietary manufacturing process • improved functionality, stability, taste and nutrient profile • ideal for functional food applications

  13. Our Quality Assurance Bioriginal has set industry standards. For example, we were the first Essential Fatty Acid company to: • guarantee that its products meet Codex Alimentarus standards for oil quality and safety • issue Certificates of Analysis for all products • test all products for pesticide and herbicide residues and heavy metals • DNA test our organic flax to ensure it is non-GMO • And, we were the first Essential Fatty Acid company in Canada to establish pharmaceutical level GMP standards for its products and be certified as such by a government agency

Our Quality Assurance In addition: • Bioriginal’s organic products are certified by Quality Assurance International and we can provide traceability right back to the farm gate • We assisted the Canadian Natural Health Products Directorate to develop monographs for flax and borage • And we are presently registering our products with the Canadian Natural Health Products Directorate to help maintain Canada’s new regulations on quality health products • Bioriginal was one of the first Canadian companies to successfully register with the FDA in compliance with the US Bioterrorism Act
