What can I do with it? • Assist in preparing grade averages • Provide a multimedia approach to instruction • Supply students an interactive approach to learning • Store data on a hard drive or disk drive • Research information through the Internet or Encyclopedia CD’s • Communicate via email and classroom websites.

  5. Computers cannot… • Replace good teaching • Think on their own… commands have to be input • Provide emotional support for learners • Interact with parents and learners • Judge student progress or adjust achievement goals

  10. Training helps! Courses are offered after school Tuesday or Thursday at the tech center. Register at the county website.

  11. Technology courses can be counted toward the required 12 hours of inservice credit. Technology inservice credit earned is recorded online at the county website.
