Targeted issues for monitoring in Year 4 • Compliance with standards to support learning and assessment in practice (SLAiP)– now mandatory • Approval processes in our providers’ Institutions • Adherence to EU requirements for programmes of preparation for general nurses Eg length of programme /hours of practice content

  8. Clinical focus • Pre-registration nursing programmes Including shortened and accelerated programmes • SCPHN • Endorsed programmes • others not previously monitored • Supervisor of midwives • Small selection of pre-registration midwives

Results by provider 23 4 55 2 • Providers with ALL good or outstanding grades have earned autonomy (EA) status - self-reporting and no visit • Providers with mainly good or outstanding grades but one satisfactory grade due to a single specific issue - self reporting with 1 day focused visit • Providers with a mixture of grades and those with EA status last year will get the normal 2 day visit • Providers with a number of satisfactory or unsatisfactory grades over the past 2 years of monitoring - 3 day visit
