    1. IC-APL:Consorcio Internacional en Leucemia promieloctica aguda. ASH meeting, San Diego, 2004. Creado por grupo de expertos, iniciado por Dr. Lowenberg: presidente. Dr. LoCoco, Dr.Sanz, Dr. Ribeiro. Eleccin de pases. Criterios fundamentales del proyecto.

    3. IC-APL BRASIL JORDANIA MEXICO INCLUSIN URUGUAY: 2006 Estudio piloto, multicntrico, prospectivo, no aleatorizado.

    4. Objetivo principal a largo plazo: Formar una red de trabajo de colaboracin internacional, entre clnicos y especialistas de laboratorio, en enfermedades oncohematolgicas. LPA: Paradigma: curable, monitorizacin protocolizada, drogas efectivas, disponibles y accesibles. Pases en desarrollo. LatinoAmrica. Alta mortalidad, hasta 50% en algunos pases.

    5. Objetivos principales corto plazo: Misin educativa, con objeto de aumentar la sobrevida en pacientes con LAP Modo: conocimiento, organizacin, facilitar disponibilidad de estudios de laboratorio y drogas.
