  3. Rising Above Minimal Service God Does NOT Accept minimal effort and service. Philip. 1:9 And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, We are to abound in love

  4. Rising Above Minimal Service God Does NOT Accept minimal effort and service. 1 Thessalonians 3:12 We are to abound in love “And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love one to another to one and to all, just as we do to you.”

We are to abound in obedience. “For I bear witness that according to their ability, yes, and beyond their ability, they were freely willing, imploring us with much urgency that we would receive the gift and the fellowship of the ministering to the saints...”

So we urged Titus, that as he had begun, so he would also complete this grace in you as well....” We are to abound in love. We are to abound in obedience.

Rising Above Minimal Service 1 Chronicles 16:7-36 • We have control over our beliefs, attitudes, and actions. • Our effort to abound in the things God has given us to do is directly related to our love, (or lack thereof) for Him (1 John 5:2). • The amount of success and growth achieved is related to the combined, cooperative efforts of those who seek to excel.

  15. Rising Above Minimal Service 1 Chronicles 16:7-36 • Let us ALL determine to rise above minimal service and ABOUND in our work for the Lord. (2 Pt. 1:5-10; 1 Cor. 15:58) • Have you yielded yourself to God, to serve Him from the heart? (Romans 6:16-18) • Have you yielded to the temptation to offer minimal service? (Matthew 25:14-30)
