  8. Why a STEM Job Fair? Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics • Students said, “Not enough technology employers attend career fairs!” • Technology companies said, “ECS students don’t attend career fairs.” • Career Services said, “What about employers recruiting ‘all majors’?”

Baylor STEM Career Fair • Employers attended • 2006 = 16 • Location: Baylor Sciences Building • 2007 = 25 • Location: Baylor Sciences Building • 2008 = 35! • Location: Cashion Academic Center • Student Attendance • 2006 – 183 students • 2007 – 184 students* • 2008 – 250 students! *569 Students attended the 2007 Spring campus-wide career fair.
