1. How to Use Press Release to Promote Your ICO

2. Introduction • The intense competition in the cryptocurrency industry has prompted firms to think out-of-the-box to promote their ICO across the masses. • Though there are so many tools available, PR is ideal due to its capacity to get a higher reach at an effective cost. • Let us have an overview of using PR marketing for ICO

3. Hurdles to meet from clients ahead of promoting ICO by utilizing PR • Project awareness -  The project needs coverage in the leading newspapers and magazines through proper communication of facts.  • Limitations on advertising - Since major tech companies such as Facebook, Google and Twitter have banned ICO advertisements, it becomes tougher to promote ICO’s. • Lack of knowledge - An average investor will not trust an ICO owing to the rise in the number of frauds and scams. The validation of the target audience must be earned in a hard way. • Understanding the mindset of the audience - While token investors will look for viable opportunities to make profits, some investors will be more interested in the functionality of a project. Hence, support is needed from both amateur and professional investors.

4. Factors to consider while implementing PR for ICO • Figure out the costs - Prepare the right budget according to your operational scope. Results will take some time and cannot be achieved overnight.  • Form a well-versed team - Make sure that your team members know the changing trends that are shaping the future of blockchain and cryptocurrency. Generate creative and unique content.  • Concentrate on storytelling - Have a common theme to please your investors. Ensure that there is adequate focus on problem-solving and share details about the impact your solution can have on the world. Divide your audience into different segments and pitch your benefits.  •  Use PR as a part of a strategy -  PR should not run the entire campaign. It is a complementary tool and must eliminate uncertainty in the minds of investors. Build a personal brand by creating awareness about your project.

5. The Top Pr Marketing Tactics for ICO • Guest posting - Showcase your expertise by posting content on popular crypto news sites. Communicate interesting insights about the massive potential of your project. • Sponsored posting -  This involves circulating a series of articles, advertisements and marketing campaigns done on prominent websites. Apart from sharing knowledge, timely updates of your project can also be mentioned.  • ICO calendar sites - Utilizewebsites such as ICObench and ICOmarks which carry reviews and ratings about all the ICO’s. Information about events, token sales and Pre-ICO’s would be available for all the industries.
