Is this a just a story or a study? • a scientific study? • was study done on people? • how was study designed? • WHO PAID FOR THE STUDY? • Government pays for many studies: • Institutes of Health (NIH) • Centers for Disease Control (CDC) • U.S. Food and Drug Administration (USDA)
