  2. Egypt, among many places in Africa, has women who are subjected to female circumcision mainly because of religion and the lack of women’s rights, but Inter-African Committee shows the power of one by creating awareness, making women’s rights programs and having a day of zero tolerance to female circumcision to help protest to the practice.
