  2. Take out a clean sheet of paper. • Using the 2 articles that I gave you yesterday please answer each question in 3-4 sentences. Use facts from the articles to support your answers. • If you were in my period 2 or 5 class before yesterday then please come see me so I can print you the list of questions from before. Ethos, Logos and Pathos

  3. Ethos article 1. When you read an article what kind of image do you expect the author to have? 2. For you, what types of words/phrases affect your image when you’re in an interview? 3. When you fill out an application, what effect do misspelled words or grammatical errors have on your image? 4. What are some things you can do in your life to protect your image, especially at a time when you’re so visible due to technology?

In regards to logos, what is the value of education when presenting yourself to others, especially future employers? 3. A Change of Heart About Animals • Using a person next to you, take out 1 sheet of paper and put both of your names on it. • Discuss each question and then answer each question together in 4-5 sentences. 1) What does it mean to have a "change of heart"? 2) What are some common ideas or feelings people have about animals? 3) What kinds of things might cause someone to change his or her ideas or feelings about animals? 4) What is a vegetarian or a vegan? What are their feelings about eating animals and why? 5) What is an animal rights activist? What are some ways they fight for animal's rights? 6) Do you think they are always looking at our best interests when they're fighting?
