Graduation Requirements • Course Planning Guide • How many credits do you need to graduate? • 31 • What is the minimum number of credits you can take each year? • 7.5 (This allows for 1 study hall each term) • How many credits do you earn for the following: • 1 Term course .50 • 2 Term course 1.00 • 3 Term course 1.50

Graduation Requirements • How is your end of year grade calculated? • YEAR grade = T1+T2+T3+T4+T5+T6+FINAL EXAM • How do you fail a course for the year? • You fail the majority of the terms/final exam. • What happens if you fail a course? • You DO NOT receive credit. • You must retake the course. • The F will lower your GPA.

Grade Point Average • TRUE/FALSE—A grade of a Cin an Honors/AP course is worth the samegrade points as a regular class. • TRUE…a C is still worth 2.0 Grade Points • How can you earn ADDED VALUE to your GPA? • Earn a C+ or higher in an Honors or AP Course. • Honors = .04 added value • AP = .06 added value
