  3. Types of Restaurants • Using your post it notes think of as many different types of restaurants as you can • 1 restaurant per post it! Stick them on the white board

  4. Types of restaurants – organise the post it notes

  5. Are there any gaps?? • Go on the internet and find some more examples and add to table

  6. In groups • Fast Food • Cafe/Coffee shop • Mainstream restaurants • Fine dining

  7. You need to find out • Type of • Food • Location • Size • Product and services • Who would go to this restaurant – give examples • Why are restaurants different

  8. Share • Go round to the other groups and take notes • Make sure you fill in the crib sheet for your own work as well!

  9. Where would these people go? • Friends shopping • Birthday celebration • Romantic dinners • Business lunch • Family Sunday lunch • Big night out with mates • After a theatre show
