  1. Heavy Lift handling in Shanghai On Mar. 19th, 2014 GSL refreshed our Heaviest Cargo Record! Cargo dimension and weight:2 pieces each: 17.46 x 5.7 x 6.42m , unit weight 500.07ton1 piece: 9.48 x 5.7 x 7.12m, unit weight 263.5ton Commodity: Nuclear Power Station EquipmentTrade terms: DDU Shanghai Electric Workshop.Cargo Value: approx USD 100 million.GSL Responsibility: From SAL’s vessel up to Consignee’s workshop.

  2. Use steel plate to spread cargo weight on Barge. Based on calculate, cargo weight per square meter is over 69.5 ton. We rent steel plates each 5m x 1m x 0.15m to spread Cargo weight on barge. This job done before cargo arrival Shanghai port.

  3. Discharge from SAL vessel onto barge When cargo discharge from SAL vessel, Our staffs supervising & help on discharge job. Barge used for carry these cargo: Jihaiyonghang, DWT 2200 ton Yanghai 8, DWT 850 ton Cargo seat on steel plates perfectly!

  4. Perfect Lashing on barge Once Cargo loaded on barge, Lashing company Done perfect job. The most difficult part is fix big end stoppers on cargo. Each end stopper dimension: 5.54m x 2.1m x 3.57m. Final view for Jihaiyonghang.

  5. Discharge job on Consignee’s private terminal Discharge job on Consignee’s private terminal complete perfect! For discharge cargo, we use high quality facility. Port crane capacity 700 ton Spread bar capacity 700ton Sling capacity each for 400ton Every party satisfied with this discharge solution.

  6. Cargo Loaded on SPMT SPMT: Goldhofer, 34 Axles with weight spreader frame (yellow part). After cargo loaded on SPMT, the lashing on SPMT done perfectly. Based on client, it’s the first time they see such good lashing.

  7. Cargo gate into workshop After one week’s hard working, finally cargo gate into Consignee’s workshop. Three heavy pieces discharged from SPMT. Job done perfect! Three pieces discharged and storage in workshop.
