  4. The powers of the President. The president has many powers that include: • Vetoing laws • Electing Supreme court members • Negate treaties • Watch armed forces • And many more.

The executive branch is made up of the cabinet, the president, and the vice president and all share some power: • The cabinet is selected by the president • The cabinet is basically secretaries and second hand advisors to the president • The vice president, the president, and the cabinet work out problems together.
