However, the way the service is used has changed • RS screening and forwarding applications/less ‘fully recruited’ teachers • Wider range of support and administrative back-up to meet the different needs of schools www.ihworld.com

  4. Recruitment Services - overview 2010 • More final placements than previous year • Transfer extremely busy • Higher calibre of applicant, both external and internal, meant easier to fill senior vacancies • Very fast turnover from advertising post to placement www.ihworld.com

  11. Recruitment Services at DOS Conference 2011 • Gave presentation for new DoSes or those unfamiliar with RS and how it could help school staffing • Workshop on Interview Process with aim of stadardizing the process and producing guide for DoSes www.ihworld.com

  12. Transfer 2011 • Another way of recruiting teachers • Free service offered by IHWO • Advantage - keeping qualified teachers within the IH network • Now - 237 vacancies, applications to date 60 www.ihworld.com

IH Journal - facts and figures • Since May 2010 website received 14,000 page views • Views of individual articles have doubled • As has number of subscribers - currently over 400 • Current issue - issue 30 largest to date and most successful in terms of advertising • Andrew Scott stepping down as Editor and Elizabeth taking over www.ihworld.com

  15. IH Journal - IH History • From Autumn 2011 new section in IH Journal - IH History • Articles written by Brita Haycraft along with pictures, anecedotes and memories from those who were part of first ground-breaking years of IH www.ihworld.com

  16. IH Journal - final note • As the IH Journal is for IH staff by IH staff along with external contributors we are always looking for contributors so would love to hear from you and your staff www.ihworld.com

  18. IH Club • Increased membership since launched last year • Now sending out quarterly updates to over 2,200 subscribers www.ihworld.com

  19. IH Club - student contributions • With aim of continuing this trend now including contributions from IH students across the globe www.ihworld.com

  20. IH Club - themed sections • Also new themed sections - IH in the northern hemisphere and southern hemisphere, recipes from around the IH world www.ihworld.com
