Accomplishments • 12/21/01: Deployed updated PV_BUDGET_MV • 12/28/01: OLTP person data in the IRDB: • ALL_PERSONS_MV • PERSON_RESTRICTED_VW (no sensitive data) • PERSON_UNRESTRICTED_VW (sensitive data) • PERSON_INVOLVEMENTS_MV • PERSON_ADDRESSES_MV • PERSON_DEGS_MV • PERSON_EXPERTISES_MV • PERSON_EMPLOYMENTS_MV • PERSON_DISABILITIES_MV

  4. Accomplishments cont’d. • 03/05/02: Sunset a “laundry list” of outdated IRDB tables, snapshots, views, and synonyms • Identified and corrected a few IRDB data quality issues • Made minor updates to IRDB schema

  5. Where We Are Today • Completed logical design for: • PV_ICD_ASSIGNMENT_MV • PV_STEM_CELL_LINES_MV • PV_AWARDS_BY_CAN_MV • PV_APPL_TRACKING • PV_GM_AWARD • PV_BUDGET_ADMIN • Pending approval: • PV_PROGRAM_ADMIN • PV_TRAINEE_ACTIVITIES

Where We Are Today cont’d. • Behind schedule with PV_GRANT_PI_MV • Creation of SQL/analyzing “refresh” problems took much longer than planned • Data quality issues slowed progress • Testing took longer than planned • Technical resources stretched too thin • Ready to deploy PV_GRANT_PI_MV pending availability of disk space

What’s Left To Do • Deploy PV_GRANT_PI_MV • Refresh IRDBDEV w/ full copy of IRDBPRD • Define IRDB data architecture • Determine physical design and implementation of PowerViews (Mview vs. relational view) • Develop dbms level refresh mechanism • Setup an IRDBTST instance • Mirror of IRDBPRD • Managed via the TAR process
