  2. I have the pleasure and the honor to announce that the 32nd World Veterinary Congress will be held in İstanbul in September 2015, one of the most beautiful cities of the world. It will be honor for Turkish Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA) to organize this very important event. Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock (MFAL) will fully support the organization, as well.
  3. With this congress, we intend to; contribute in raising the standards of veterinary profession, discussglobal challengesanddevelopments, contributetoprofessionalveterinaryservicesanddevelopingstandards, determininga worldwideroadmap. Thetopicsare; animalhealthandwelfare, publichealth, onehealth, foodhygieneandveterinaryeducation.
  4. As in the top ten agriculturaleconomies of theworld, Turkey is one of thebiggestagriculturalproductionexporters in East Europe, Middle East and North Africa (EMEA) regions.   5. Food safety standards are in linewith EU acquiscommunatarie. Supply safety from farm to fork to protect public health.
  6. Veterinary Medicine education in Turkey was first established in 1842, in İstanbul. 17 veterinary faculties foundand 10 more will be established.
