  4. A is for This is where you will type your three facts. Be sure to write in complete sentences!

  5. B is for Type your facts here. Don’t forget to write in complete sentences!

  6. C is for Type your sentences here.

  7. D is for Type your three facts here. Don’t forget to write them in complete sentences.

  8. E is for Type your three facts here. Don’t forget to write them in complete sentences.

  9. F is for This is where you will type your three facts. Be sure that you are writing in complete sentences.

  10. G is for This is where you will type your three facts.

  11. H is for This is where you will write your three facts.

  12. I is for Don’t forget to capitalize the beginning of each sentence.

  13. J is for Each sentence should include punctuation at the end of it. Read your sentences aloud to see if they make sense.

  14. K is for Be sure that you are spelling each word correctly. If a word isn’t spelled right, then a red squiggly line will show up. (example: Higley)

  15. L is for Each page should include an illustration. (That’s what the empty spaces are for.)

  16. M is for Be sure that your sentences “flow” well together. Remember, you can try reading your sentences to a friend to hear them. If they don’t sound right, then make some changes!

  17. N is for Remember, you need to be finished up by January 29th! That way, you won’t be rushing at the last minute to complete your book.

  18. O is for Be sure to SAVE often! Also, be sure that you’re saving to your home directory (not to the computer).

  19. P is for Paella Paella is a popular Spanish dish. There are three different types of paella:

  20. Q is for After each sentence, just hit the spacebar two times. Do not hit ENTER.

  21. R is for You can capitalize a letter by holding down the SHIFT key while you type.

  22. S is for Remember to capitalize all proper nouns. Names of people, places, and things should all begin with a capital letter.

  23. T is for The font that you are typing in should be “Arial Rounded MT Bold.”

  24. U is for You are almost finished!

  25. V is for Keep the font black. Do not change it to a different color.

  26. W is for Keep typing! You’re almost there.

  27. X is for Have you saved recently?

  28. Y is for After this page, there’s only one more letter page left!

  29. Z is for This is the last alphabet page. You aren’t finished yet, though!

  30. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Erin was born in South Carolina but has lived in Raleigh, NC since she was two years old. Currently, she lives in a townhome with her beloved mutts, Stuart and Phoebe. Erin enjoys collecting giraffe figurines, teaching her class of fabulous fourth graders, and watching reality TV. She loves all things green and will do just about anything for really good crème brulee. This is Erin’s first A to Z book. Erin was born on January 3rd, 1983. Here she is pictured holding her adorable nephew, Liam.
