Conclusie • Koorts bij een ischemisch CVA is geassocieerd met een slechte prognose. • Een infectie bij de patient met een acuut CVA dient zo snel mogelijk worden behandeld. • Een hoge dosis paracetamol in de acute fase verlaagt de temperatuur met 0,3 tot 0,4°C. • Het neuroprotectief effect van paracetamol in de acute fase van een ischemisch CVA is niet aangetoond.
