The MDHI HPRP Program, funded by $5 million ARRA from DOH and an additional $3.2 million from Denver, aimed to address homelessness from October 2009 to July 2012. Leveraging $4 million of TANF Emergency Contingency Funds, the program focused on prevention, rapid re-housing, rental, and eviction assistance. Collaboration was established with 27 agencies in Metro Denver, leading to significant outcomes: serving 2,097 households and 4,809 individuals, with 2,765 persons prevented from homelessness and 1,047 successfully housed through rapid re-housing.
