The Principles 0f Experiencing God • God is always at work around you. • God pursues a continuing love relationship with you Him is real and personal. • God invites you to become involved with Him in His work. • God speaks by the Holy Spirit through the Bible, prayer, circumstances, and the church to reveal Himself, His purposes, and His ways. • God’s invitation for you to work with Him always leads you to a crisis of belief that requires faith and action. • You must make major adjustments in your life to join God in what He is doing. • You come to know God by experience as you obey Him and He accomplishes His work in you.

Principle # 1GOD IS ALWAYS AT WORK AROUND YOU How Do We Respond To This Principle • AS SERVANTS OF GOD- WE OBEY • AS SONS OF GOD- WE SHINE • Live in Humility- No Murmur and complaining • Live in Harmony- Not Arguing or Contentious • Live in Holiness- Not Self- Centered, God-Centered • As Children of the Light- We SHINE

Spiritual Markers of Being Chosen to be On Mission With God • God chooses you to involve you in His Mission to reconcile the world. • God calls you to Himself so that you can be on mission with Him. • God initiates a covenant of promise and obedience with you to accomplish His mission and to glorify Him. • God prepares and equips you to be on mission with Him.

The Crisis of Belief • An encounter with God requires faith. • Encounters with God are God-sized. • What you do in response to God’s revelation (invitation) reveals what you believe about God. • True faith requires action. • Faith was believing that the God who called us to the assignments was the One who would provide for their accomplishment.

  29. Kinds of Adjustments ADJUSTMENTS IN: • Your Circumstances- Job, Home,Finances,etc • Your Relationships- Family, Friends • Your Thinking- Prejudices, Methods • Your Commitments- Church, Family, Job • Your Actions- Pray, Give, Serve • Your Beliefs - God, His Purposes, His Plans

  30. Obedience Requires Action YOU CANNOT STAY WHERE YOU ARE AND GO WITH GOD AT THE SAME TIME
