  2. 2 Timothy 3:16…. “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.”[NIV]

  3. 2 Timothy 3:17…. “That the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work.”[ASV]

  4. MAIN POINTS 1. Through His Word ... God Speaks To Us!

  5. The Bible Is God's Spoken Word A.

  6. 2 Timothy 3:16a…. “All Scripture is God-breathed...” [NIV]

  7. Hebrew word "theopneustos" 2 words "theo" "pneo" God breathe … meaning “God is breathing” or “God’s Spirit is moving.”

  8. The Bible Is God's Inspired Word B.

  9. 2 Peter 1:20,21…. “20 “Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation. 21For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.” [NIV]

  14. God loves us! God gave us…. His one & only Son – Jesus Christ His Word – The Bible

  18. God's Word is for.... To help someone knows God’s will. TEACHING REBUKING To point out someone’s wrong.

  19. God's Word is for.... To help make right what was wrong in someone. CORRECTING To teach someone to live uprightly. TRAINING IN RIGHTEOUSNESS

  20. 3. Through His Word ... We Can Experience Abundance In Life!

  22. “The man of God may be complete, furnished completely” Original meaning… “accomplish, able, fully prepared,completely furnished,wholeness,harmonious.”

  23. Signifies…. "Wholeness in the Spirit, and abundance in life."

  24. “… unto every good work.” Meaning… “God’s Word is essential for equipping every Christian for good works – giving him the direction and power to accomplish them.”
