  5. 3. Loving God • John 14:21 “Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who lovesme he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him."

  6. 3. Loving God • 1 John 4:16 “And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.” • “If you really believe that God is love, you will also accept the fact that His will is always the best.”

  7. 4. God Invites You to Join Him • John 5:17, 19-20. Jesus said to them, "My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am working." … "I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. 20For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does.”

  8. 5. Knowing Where God Is at Work • 1. Where God is drawing people to Himself • 2. God causes those people to seek after Him • 3. God reveals spiritual truth to the person • 4. God convicts the person of guilt regarding sin • 5. God convicts the person of righteousness • 6. God convicts the person of judgment.

  9. What can we do to see these things? • Pray, but don’t just pray, pray and watch • Don’t just pray and watch, be ready to make adjustments and do what God gisshowing you He is doing. • Also ask questions: How can I pray for you? Do you want to talk? What particular burden has God given you?
