  18. Does Facebook Help? Spring.

  19. Student Comments Few: I really thought that the facebook was great, Carrie or another course admin was able to answer our questions in a timely manner. I also felt the facebook was great in a way that it allowed questions to be viewed by the entire class, some people have a harder time putting themselves out there and generally if one has a question so do others.

  20. SMS: Fall

  21. SMS Usage: Spring

  22. SMS Stats • Fall: • 50 Users • 172 Incoming Texts • Spring • 57 Users • 193 Incoming Texts

  23. Course Content Is a yeoman farmer the same as a subsistence farmer. (2X—A hot question!) For the discussion post, would the invention of the automobile and electricity relate to the democratic –authoritarian social contract by making us change the landscape for the automobile and electricity and the fact that we now rely on it so much now that we can’t have anything else? What does it mean by a person who lives by a local “moral ecology”?

  24. Where is something on Moodle? Where is midterm study guide questions? Where are notes available online? Where is the study guide for the midterm. I don’t see it? Where can I find the class syllabus on Moodle? I can’t find where the evaluation is on moodle. How do I use the forum on moodle?

  25. Where are my Grades? 27X

  26. Technical problems Difficulties during midterm. Midterm technical difficulties. I can’t upload my paper on moodle. technical difficulty with midterm. I can’t find moodle. Error on moodle. Moodle error on quiz. Technical difficulty during midterm. Can’t upload paper. Moodle error. Cant get moodle to work. Moo. Moodle problem. Grades not showing up on moodle Moodle error.

  27. Information Available on Syllabus, Moodle, and/or announced in class Do we have to go to the lab this week? Is there a primary source this week? Is the film that’s posted the primary source for next week? When is film playing today. Do I need to go to the lab if I watched the movie there? How do I hand in my paper? How many paper options are there total? When is the history lab open today? (1000X) Where should I put the name of my partner on my paper? Can I do extra credit for this class? Any homework due today? How do I register my iclicker ? Where do we buy iclickers? It says on Moodle to read Chapter 16, but my textbook only has 15 chapters I can’t remember if I went to the history lab this week. Can you check? Should I retake the quiz. I got a 90

  28. Day of midterm questions I did not get paperwork done for extended time on test, can I have extended time. Does the exam need to be completed before 10pm or initiated before 10pm Is it true for every single one of the essay questions for the midterm we have to mention Foner? (3:00pm, day exam is due) I have a question about the midterm. I can’t seem to find any mention of yeoman farmers in Foner (I’ve checked the index), nor can I find any solid reference to it in the lecture notes. Can someone please direct me to where this information can be found? Thanks! (3:46pm, day midterm is due) What chapter did we learn about farming in the west “How long should the midterm essay be” 4:11pm, day midterm is due For the midterm, are primary sources necessary? 4:43pm, day midterm is due Moodle says I went overtime on the midterm but I didn’t

  29. Random Stuff Moodle says I got a 60 on the midterm. (no question). Hey this is Brent  so you never texted me back lol? “Who would I talk to about making up work and hopefully passing American History? I had SU’d the class and stopped going for five weeks. Do I have to write my essay from the perspective of the automobile? Does introducing myself on the discussion forum count for credit? A bio major: 4.0ed everything but your class thanks alotttttttttttttt (thumbs up). I dropped the class. Remove me from moodle. It’s not fair I received an early alert? wut? who’s this? lol.
