Science Performance Tests These tests are done at the sensor subassembly level to verify key performance parameters that directly determine the quality of the science data products. • Verify Science Performance requirements defined in Contract Appendix II • Address science issues which have arisen since the start of the contract • Includes quantitative measurements of key instrument parameters • A portion of these tests form the final calibration of the flight instrument • Tests only need to be done in ambient conditions NCKU UCB Tohoku Science Performance Tests Mende / Harris

Calibration • The final calibration is done following all manufacturing operations including installation of the flight Actels and conformal coating of circuit boards • The procedures and test set-ups used are the same as those of the Science Performance test • Primary Calibration of the Array Photometer will be Done by Tohoku.
