  2. My certification • I graduated from Texas A & M Commerce in May of 2006 with Bachelor of Science Degree. • I am certified to teach • Early Childhood • Grades K-8 • Special Education EC-12 • English as a Second Language EC-12

  3. Avalon • I have worked in Avalon School District since August 2006. • I began as a Kindergarten teacher. • In 2007 I began teaching Special Education. • I taught a Speical Education Life Skills class for five years. • This year I am happy to begin teaching Elementary Special Education and Elementary English as a Second Language. • I hope to teach in Avalon until I retire (many years down the road.

  4. Other Experience • I worked in the Mildred School District as an Instructional Aide in a special education class while I was attending college. • I also worked in a group home for adults with special needs while attending college. • I have day care and baby sitting experience as well. • So to ease your mind about your child having a new teacher this year, I have been doing this for a while.

  5. About Me • I live in Rice currently. • I am planning to move back to Ennis sometime this year. • I have a second job – I am going to be working at the State Fair this year on weekends. • I do not have any children, only one very small puppy named Xylee. • I go to New Hope Church in Ennis. • I love my job and I love the kids!!!!
