Act 1 Getting StartedScene 1 • Hello this is Mercedes. Today I am going to teach you how to treat a cut. • Disclaimer: I am not a doctor, I only know first aid. If you are unsure about your injury, go to the ER.
Scene 2 (Caption Frame) The Supplies you will need: • Warm Water • Antibacterial Soap • Band Aid • Neosporin • Q-Tip
Act 2 Preparing The CutScene 1 • Lets Get Started • First wash your hands with warm water and antibacterial soap. If you are not sure how long to wash, sing the Happy Birthday song. • Dry your hands
Scene 2 • Clean the patients Cut that same way you washed your hands. • Dry the cut site by blotting it with a towel, but be careful. • If the cut is still bleeding, add pressure with the towel till the bleeding has stop. It should only take about 3 mins but if it is longer the 10 mins you should go to the ER.
Scene 3 • Inspect the cut to see how deep. • If the cut is really deep, it may need stitches and you will need to go to the ER. • When inspecting the cut, see if there is any dirt or objects in your cut that did not get washed out. • Clear them out of the cut.
Treating the CutScene 3 • Now that the cut is cleaned and inspected, take a Q-Tip and put some Neosporin onto it. • Now take the Q-Tip and apply the Neosporin to the cut. • Now take your band-aid and place it over the cut, but not too tight that it cuts off circulation to the area or is uncomfortable.
Act IIIScene 1 • Now you are done. • Wash your hands again like you did before and clean up all the supplies and throw away the garbage.
