A Novel Cross-Calibration Method in Quantitative PET/CT Imaging Using vPET

This study introduces a novel approach for cross-calibrating quantitative PET/CT imaging through the use of the Virtual Positron Emission Tomograph (vPET). The proposed method enhances the accuracy and reliability of imaging results by implementing advanced transconvolution techniques. The implications of this research extend to improved diagnostic precision in oncology and other fields that utilize PET/CT technology. Authored by leading experts, this work aims to set a new standard in the calibration practices used in medical imaging.
