  4. SPECIAL GUEST Kate Ziegler is a 4-time World Swimming Champion and 2-time Olympian. At the 2005 World Championships, she won Gold Medals in both the 800 meter and 1500 meter freestyle events. At the 2007 World’s she repeated her victories in the same events and, in that same year, shattered Janet Evan’s 20-year old 1500 meter world record by almost ten seconds. She would then go on to break the 800 and 1500 Short Course Meter freestyle World Records. Kate returned in 2011 to win silver and bronze at the Shanghai World Swim Championships. Kate is a 9-time National Champion and has won a total of fifteen medals in major international competition, including eight gold medals, five silver medals, and two bronze medals collectively at World Championships and Pan Pacific Games.

  7. All swimmers need to meet at the divewell area of the pool. Look for signs that show the meeting point Contact Brooke Nelson at brookememberatlarge@kingfishswimteam.com to submit your music and for any questions regarding the parade.

  13. ITEMS FOR SALE AT THE EVENT • The following will be available for sale at CHAMPS upper floor pool area • Apparel—a limited supply of all items offered during the event. Pre-Orders mailed direct to teams • Programs: $8/ 6€, pre-orders have been made. Limited supply will be available at the event. • Program pre-orders will be boxed and available for pick up 0800 Saturday (location TBA). All pre-order programs have been paid for, so only pick up is necessary. • Heat sheets will be available for key personnel for each team. Programs will have the heat sheet as well • De Nagerie Swim Shop will have suits, goggles, caps and other swim merchandise available for your purchase. • De Photo: “On site Photo Printing/ On Site Satisfaction” • Grand Swimmer’s Café will have a kiosk open inside the competition pool and in the front lobby. They will serve beverages and snacks. • Food and Drink • Lunch provided by Grand Swimmer’s Café. Prices of the lunch will be 9,00 euros without a drink, 11,00 euros with water, 11.50 euros with soda. Box lunches for event staff, coaches and officials are 8.00 euro. Families can pick up pre-ordered tickets at the apparel tables. • MENU – Club Sandwiches with chip or fries (sandwiches will come with a variety of meats/cheese) • Limited Gatorade will be available for sale. Water will not be sold per request of the pool. Water is available at the main café and kiosk within the pool. • Little else available on site or nearby. Come prepared if you are not interested in what is provided.

  14. THINGS TO REMEMBER • Copies of all Information for Champs is located at www.kingfishswimteam.com. Look for the “Champs 2014” tab. • President’s meeting will be at 0745 in the media room (same place lunches were provided last year) • Officials meeting will be at 0930. Located TBA • Keep all non-marshalling swimmers and parents off the deck at all times. Only identified personnel are authorized deck access. Anyone needing access must see Julio Quinones or Rodell Reed • Event staff not performing an official function on deck are not permitted to coach/spectate pool side. All spectators must watch their own swimmers from the stands • Swimmers must be on time to marshal. Champs staff will not search for a child. If the child isn't there, they may miss their event • Keep the front row of each seating section open for families to photograph their swimmers. Families seen sitting in these areas will be asked to move to another location • Absolutely no unauthorized entry into the Stats room. Only EFSL Event Staff are permitted • Volunteers must be on time. The event’s success depends on it. Please stress this to your teams • Banners and team gear can be left in the pool between Saturday and Sunday. • The fun pool is down for maintenance during our Champs weekend. • The pool is offering Free entrance 15 & 16 February to the Ice-skating rink “Ijssportcentrum Eindhoven”www.ijssportcentrum.nl • If you forget your skates or do not have skates? You can also rent skates here for € 4.00. You can also Nike Soft Boots Rent: € 6.00.  Remember to bring  your ID in both cases to this serves as a deposit. Their hours are 1030-1930.
