  2. Intro • Welcome to the grand court! This PowerPoint is about medieval advisors and courtiers! Whatare they? And who are they? Lets find out.

  3. Advisors These men/women were the king’s helpers that he trusted to help run the kingdom.

  4. The jobs of the advisors • The Justiciar was supposed to keep order when the king passed royal judgement in the king’s court. When the king was not there the justiciar passed royal judgements. • The chamberlain looked after the royal bedchambers. He also was the king’s treasurer. In the early times, The chamberlain had to look after the king’s valuables, which were stored inside the king’s bedchamber. • The servants looked after the noble family need’s. • The exchequer: twice a year the king’s sheriffs came to him in his court and gave him taxes . Also, the exchequer wasn’t a person it was a was a system. It accounted the tax coins. It started with king henry the 1st.

  5. Royal Children • The oldest son of the king had to be the heir to the throne. He had to learn how to rule the kingdom. The other son would have to train to be a knight.
