Introduction to the Electromagnetic Spectrum and Interdisciplinary Connections

In Week #1 of our lesson plan, students will explore the connections between Astronomy, Chemistry, and Physics. The warm-up activity on Monday (1/14) will begin with an introduction to the Electromagnetic Spectrum. Students are reminded that their homework, which includes reading an article on the Electromagnetic Spectrum and taking notes, is due by Friday for a total of 20 points. Additionally, important agenda items include exploring website information and a CTE tour scheduled at 11:05 (4th hour), 12:35 (5th hour), and 1:35 (6th hour). Be sure to copy the unit's learning goals and scales into your notebook!
