  3. Why does God want us to receive his Word eagerly? Leviticus 23:3 There are six days when you may work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of rest, a day of sacred assembly. You are not to do any work; wherever you live, it is a Sabbath to the LORD. No work on Saturday (Sabbath) rest worship

Then the owner of the house became angry and ordered his servant, ‘Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame.’ ”‘Sir,’ the servant said, ‘what you ordered has been done, but there is still room.’ “Then the master told his servant, ‘Go out to the roads and country lanes and make them come in, so that my house will be full.   17. Key Point #3 We sin against this commandment when we refuse to hear or read God’s Word, believe it, and obey it.

  18. Bob has good intentions. He promises himself that he’s going to take some time each evening to read God’s Word. But most nights he forgets. He comes home, turns on the TV, and ends up watching it instead. He’s not happy with himself about this, and he asks you what he should do. What are some things you might suggest?

  19. Agree or Disagree… It’s okay to miss church if the only job you can get to support yourself is on Sunday.

  20. What’s wrong here? Teri says that she doesn’t have to go to Bible class or read the Bible at home because she gets all the spiritual strength she needs from the Sunday worship service.
