Formatting w/ Font • One way to quickly enhance a document is to change the title font. You can achieve a large impact by changing the size, color, or type of the font. • Use the home tab to find font changing options • Additionally, you can select the text to get the mini formatting bar. • Drop Cap: A drop cap is a large capital letter at the beginning of a document. Often, they are used to set off the first paragraph of an article. • Under the insert tab is the drop cap option. You must first type a letter and select the letter you would like to enlarge.
Format Painter • Format painter allows you to copy format from one text to another, or it allows you to copy formatted styles within a document. • Select the text format you would like to copy • Choose the format painter from either the clipboard or mini-formatting menu • Notice that the pointer changes to a paint brush • Select the text you would like to apply the formatting to. When you deselect, the formatting should be applied.
