  2. Duties • Fashion Editors supervise the process of developing, creating and presenting content for any thing in Fashion. From magazines to a photo shoot. • Under the supervison of the editor-in-chif they help deciede the creative direction there department is going in.

Abilities & Personal Qualities • A Fashion Editor should enjoy a fast-paced life style, traveling, and meetings with designers. • Some of the personal qualities of a Fashion Editor are knowledge of the latest fashion trends, good writing and communication skills, organization and a competitive sprit.

  4. Experience & Education • Internships are a great way to start a job as a Fashion Editor. • To get a job as a Fashion Editor you need a 4-year bachelor's degree in Merchandising and Fashion Design. Also a degree in journalism is helpful.

  5. Salary, Availability & Location • A Fashion Editor usually starts off making -$30,000 but the top pay for an expericnced Fashion Editor is $100,000+ • Availability for Fashion Editors is expected to increase 10% to 20% between 2002 and 2012 • A Fashion Editor can work in many locations.
