Foods such as Perogies, Holubtsi (cabbage rolls), Borshch (cabbage soup) and Kovbasa (garlic sausage). • The Ukrainians carve dolls from wood that nest inside each other called Matryoshka. • The Ukrainian people are known for their finely painted Easter eggs or Pysanky. • Population 47 million.
