A brief history… Humans evolved from ape-like ancestors but they needed to run long distances – for many reasons, perhaps to hunt animals – so therefore the ability to run shaped our anatomy, making us look like we do today.
History continued • People have run together as a social activity throughout history • People have run because they want to spend time with themselves • People run to gather their thoughts and become self-aware • This helps people discover their inner self • You can begin to forget about you troubles • Your confidence can increase as you push you limits
