  1. Capture Cross-Sections and Fission Yields for the Production of Therapeutic RadionuclidesJ-Ch Sublet CEA, CE de CadaracheDEN/DER/SPRC13108 Saint Paul les Durance, FranceAgreement number: FRA 12487E-mail : jean-christophe.sublet@cea.fr

  2. Y-90,I-131 and Cs-137 production: Fission yields • Three established therapeutic radionuclides are produced as fission products in reactors • The main fissile isotope is the U-235, although other fissionable isotopes generate those products in the same manner • The energy dependence of the fission yields is reported • The experimental cumulated fission yields measurements have been extracted from a Nexia Solutions database (UK) • The thermal cumulated fission yields for those isotopes are • known with an associated uncertainties of 1-2%

  3. Mass Distribution with uncertainty / U – 235 / Thermal Good agreement in the humps

  4. Mass Distribution with uncertainty / U – 235 / 400 keV Yields # energy

  5. Mass Distribution with uncertainty / U – 235 / 14 MeV reduced humps

  6. Charge Distribution / U – 235 / Thermal odd # even

  7. Charge Distribution / U – 235 / 400 keV large differences
