  3. Emblem sales information • Approximately 35 employees • Onsite functions: • Warehouse/Shipping & Receiving • Call Center • Marketing & Product Development • Finance Department

  8. WAYS TO DO THAT Special order items thru Emblem Sales • Sell the product as a fundraiser (prices are generally less than ad-specialty company products)

  9. 2 ways to do that 1. Use an existing American Legion licensee. • A & A Engraving • Engraved gold-plated rifles & pistols • great for raffles • Hobie J. Gourmet Sauces • Three types of TAL barbecue sauce • Worlds Finest Chocolates • Candy bars

  10. 2 ways to do that • Someone may apply for a license to sell their product with our emblem and name • Should have a broad appeal, marketable to many • Not a quick process • Allow time • Many required approvals

  11. Miscellaneous notes • 2 % of the total sales from each Department is distributed back to the Department • As of January 1, 2010, there is officially a fundraising division within The American Legion • New Director, Chuck Krupa, will be speaking to all Dept Adjutants at the Fall meetings
