This initiative, led by mentors from the University of Maryland, focuses on empowering Ecuadorian communities through a series of targeted projects. With a multidisciplinary approach involving colleges namely Behavioral and Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Engineering, and Agriculture, the team aims to address vital priorities such as equity, information transfer, and literacy. Key activities include setting up weather stations, conducting socio-economic surveys, and engaging in crop mapping. Working collaboratively, these efforts will foster sustainable development and enhance community resilience.
