  11. School Schedule School Hours: 8:45 a.m. – 2:45 p.m. School Buses Depart at 2:55 p.m. There are many after school activities within which students can be involved. To be in the school after 3:30pm – students are required to be part of a supervised activity.

Student Absence • In the event of any absence please: • Notify the Attendance Office at 905-913-2989 before 9:00 a.m. on the day of the absence; provide the student's name, grade and reason for the absence • Alternative: Student may bring a note the following day and bring to attendance. • Students that arrive after 9:15 am must report to attendance upon arrival to sign in.

  16. Sign-Out Procedures • A student who must leave school during the day must have a parent call the morning of and/or submit a dated and signed note from the parent / guardian to the Attendance Secretary before the beginning of the school day.

  17. Take Your Kid to Work Day • TYKTWD is on November 6th • Mandatory day for all Grade 9’s in Ontario • Students will bring home appropriate forms, must be signed and returned

  33. How we eat and move… • 35% of student in Peel (aged 12-18) are physically inactive during leisure time • 15% of Grade 7-12 students in Peel report eating vegetables and fruit at least five times daily • 69% of Peel students consume sugar-sweetened beverages at least once per week
