Each person needs 1 sheet of paper and a pencil Each group needs 1 cup (I will pass out after I give you the instructions! )
Step 1: Take the contents out of the cup • Step 2: With your partner discuss how to classify your objects. (You determine how) Whisper! we do not want someone close to you to steal your answer. • Step 3: Write down the way you chose. • Step 4: How many other ways can you classify the objects? Write down as many as possible. Instructions
Step 5: Write a simple explanation about the way you classified the objects. Example: I chose texture because some of the objects felt smooth, others rough, but some of the objects were both.
